Teacher: Twitter case highlights freedom of speech issue for students

Veteran teacher Anthony Cody writes about his support of students' free speech by pointing to recent incidents in which he says such expression has been suppressed. He notes that a student in Kansas was recently disciplined for a Twitter comment she made about the state's governor. "Attempts to suppress speech should lead to an expansion of speech in response," Cody writes.
