Red Hat debuts app-development tool for PaaS

Red Hat has introduced OpenShift Enterprise, a cloud-based application-development tool. The company says OpenShift differs from platform-as-a-service offerings such as Microsoft Azure and VWware Cloud Foundry in that it can operate in a private cloud or a third-party data center. Pricing starts at an annual subscription of $5,550 for two server cores.
