Search marketers are tripling and quadrupling mobile device budgets

Mobile devices have drawn stronger support from search marketers so far in the fourth quarter with smartphone budgets rising by 307% and tablet advertising by 231% compared with a year ago, according to IgnitionOne, a digital marketing firm. And yet, mobile devices still lag PCs in generating cost per clicks: PCs are getting a 28% premium over smartphones and 36% higher rates when compared with tablets.
