Southwest's shift out of Atlanta may benefit Delta

When Southwest Airlines purchased AirTran Airways, some industry analysts speculated that Southwest's new strong presence in Atlanta might put pressure on Delta Air Lines. Aviation blogger Brett Snyder writes, however, that Southwest's strategy appears to be a shift away from Atlanta serving as a significant hub, thus easing the pressure on Delta.
