Kroger Reiterates Commitment To Diversity In Face Of Lawsuit

Responding to a race-based class-action lawsuit expected to be filed today, Kroger maintained that the company sets workplace diversity as "the top non-financial priority." The lawsuit charges the supermarket chain with discriminating against black employees in its hiring and promotions. Of Kroger's 312,000 employees, 26% are minorities.
