Most VoIP providers thought to have missed E911 deadline

Yesterday's deadline for VoIP providers to offer E911 service in all their markets passed without the FCC indicating it would provide flexibility. Providers that missed the deadline -- people familiar with the situation say most companies didn't reach full compliance -- will be forced to stop marketing VoIP in areas where they're not providing E911.
