Report: British students missing out on science experiments

Nearly two-thirds of surveyed British science teachers say they lack the time to do hands-on experiments in class, while many other educators say they're deterred by safety rules, according to a report from the National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts. The government plans to introduce a new curriculum in September 2006 that will give more emphasis to practical science.
