Colorado educators are improving their use of classroom technology in an effort to secure federal Race to the Top stimulus funding -- part of which is tied to a willingness to embrace innovative reforms. Teachers are tracking student data online and using laptop computers, interactive whiteboards and other devices in class. "This is definitely increasing student engagement," one teacher said. "They are just infatuated with technology. They are just so focused on it and what is going on in the classroom."
