Protests of airport security procedures fizzle

A grass-roots campaign to protest the Transportation Security Administration's airport-screening procedures failed to materialize during Thanksgiving week. Loose-knit groups had called on travelers to slow airport security by requesting lengthy pat-downs, but no delays were reported as a result of passengers' concerns about the body scanners. Instead, weather played a larger role in travel delays over the long Thanksgiving weekend.
