Co-author of U.S. Dodd-Frank Act won't seek re-election

U.S. Rep. Barney Frank, D-Mass., co-author of the Dodd-Frank Act, which overhauled financial regulation, decided against running for re-election. Frank, 71, said his district was redrawn in a way that would require him to run a tough, expensive campaign to gain support in an area he has never represented.
