Consumers see c-store, quickservice meals as interchangeable

More consumers are opting for prepared food offerings from convenience stores instead of quickservice meals, and many see the two venues as interchangeable, according to Technomic. About 82% of consumers said they buy prepared foods from convenience stores at least once a month, and 27% said if they didn't buy their meal at convenience store they'd opt for quickservice instead.
