Verizon to kick off TV service on Xbox 360

Verizon in December will begin streaming more than two dozen cable TV channels, as well as video-on-demand, via Microsoft's Xbox 360 console. The offerings are said to include MTV, Nickelodeon, Food Network, HBO and TBS. None of the top broadcast networks will be part of the mix for the time being. Verizon rival AT&T fields its entire lineup of channels on the Xbox device.
