Canadian Tire's senior ranks to get smaller, younger

Canadian Tire said it will cut its senior management team between 5% and 10%, putting more responsibility into fewer hands as it works to streamline operations ahead of Target's entry into the market next year. Long-time executives Kristine Freudenthaler and Mike Arnett will leave the company, and will reportedly be replaced by the next generation of up-and-coming managers.
