Costs of business travel declined on average in Q3, group says

Travel Leaders Corporate reports that most expenses associated with business travel either decreased or were flat in the third quarter compared with the same period last year. Average international airfare costs dropped 5%, and rental car prices came down 4 percent. "The decreasing cost of international airfare reflects what we've already reported quarter to quarter this year, specifically that demand continues to soften somewhat," said David Holyoke, Travel Leaders Corporate president.
