Demand for quinoa is expected to spur supply

Demand for quinoa is surging, prompting farmers to take a new look at the ancient grain. Quinoa rarely is grown outside of Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador and Chile, but plant breeders and scientists say that is about to change, especially as quinoa can flourish in different climates and geographies.
