P&G sachets provide clean water for pennies

Procter & Gamble has pioneered sachets that purify 10 liters of water in 20 minutes, at a cost of three and a half cents per packet. The company is working with humanitarian groups, including World Vision, Care and Save the Children, to deliver the sachets to communities where poor water quality is linked to illness and death.
