Retired commercial pilot volunteers to provide hope

Henry Ilg is a retired Air Canada pilot who now flies on-call for Hope Air, a Canadian charity that organizes free flights for people in need of medical treatment. Ilg, who began volunteering his time for the charity in 2009, has completed 12 flights for Hope Air. Ilg says that while he would go flying anyway, working with the charity "is a reason now to go flying — it has become my hobby."
