Survey: High-income shoppers pick Amazon over Wal-Mart

Wal-Mart Stores outsells Amazon by a large margin among the total population, but households earning at least $75,000 annually are more likely to shop at Amazon, according to a survey by the Shullman Research Center. The lead widens as income rises: Only one-third of Americans making $250,000 or more shop at Wal-Mart.
