NCAA may be violating its own rules with Web ad

ESPN's Pontiac Game Changing Performance poll, where fans vote on a play they think changed the outcome of a Division I-A football game, comes dangerously close to violating NCAA rules about athletes promoting products, according to several critics. "The question is whether there is an implied endorsement of the products by the players," said Mark Levinstein, a Washington-based labor lawyer.
