Mich. farmer violates False Claims Act, must repay $2 million

A Bay County, Mich., farmer has been ordered by federal officials to repay more than $2 million to the federal government under the False Claims Act. A federal judge ruled the farmer submitted false claims for crop insurance indemnities and false certifications of potato production for several years.
