Airbus takes 150 passengers on A380 demonstration

Airbus invited 150 guests to take a 90-minute demonstration ride on its A380 superjumbo jet in Los Angeles on Thursday. Airbus said it invited airport opponents on the demonstration flights as part of an effort to build confidence in the plane. Some people who live near Los Angeles International Airport say they hope the plane will replace older, louder aircraft.
