Almost 100 million shoppers expected on Cyber Monday

Last year's Cyber Monday online shopping extravaganza attracted 85 million consumers, according to Shop.org. This year, 96.5 million shoppers are expected to take to the Internet, seeking deals and bargains as online retailers strive to keep the holiday momentum going. "Online retailers have been working overtime to make sure their Cyber Monday promotions are enticing," recognizing stepped up competition for customers who are still pretty cash strapped, said Scott Silverman, executive director of Shop.org.
