Almost one-fifth of Americans will use mobiles to shop

According to a recent survey from Deloitte, about 19% of U.S. consumers will use their mobile devices to shop for the holidays, while 39% of shoppers 18 to 29 will put their phones to use in trying to find store locations, research products, and obtain sales information and coupons. While the mobile commerce market remains small, retailers are scrambling to capture the market, as it is poised to explode.
