Cola consumption linked to diabetes during pregnancy

A study has found that women who drink more than five servings of sugar-sweetened cola a week prior to becoming pregnant are more likely to develop gestational diabetes during pregnancy. Compared with women who drank less than one serving per month, the risk was elevated by 22%, said the lead author.
