Mass. bill proposes mandate on health insurance for college students

All college students in Massachusetts would be required to have basic health insurance under a bill in the state Legislature. Public and private colleges and universities that failed to insure students would be fined and the money would go to the state's Health Safety Net Trust Fund that covers medical costs of the uninsured.
