MGM Mirage, Dubai World prepare to unveil CityCenter

MGM Mirage and Dubai World will officially open the $8.5 billion CityCenter resort on Tuesday. Las Vegas officials hope the project, which includes hotels, restaurants and a casino, helps pull the city out of the economic downturn. Meanwhile, observers say Dubai World hopes to delay payments on $59 billion in debt and note that MGM Mirage has first right of refusal to buy its CityCenter assets should it seek to sell them.
