Obesity in youths tied to lack of vigorous exercise

Sitting around, by itself, doesn't appear to play a major role in making young children obese, British researchers said. While children should be encouraged to limit their sedentary time, this alone won't curb childhood obesity, researchers said. More vigorous exercise was tied to a bigger reduction in waist size than moderate exercise.
