Self-proclaimed "nanogeek" is developing N.Y. nanotechnology center

A professor and CEO of the University at Albany's College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering, who drives a Range Rover with the license tag "NANOGEEK," has been credited with putting together a nanotechnology center known globally for its innovation. Now, the college and major firms such as IBM, Intel and the SEMATECH consortium are partnering with the SUNY Institute of Technology to develop a nanotechnology center there.
