Wind advocates hope for bipartisan support in Congress

There's no real reason why the Republican ascendancy in Congress should leave wind energy in the doldrums, experts say. While advocates will need to change their rhetoric somewhat in speaking to GOP lawmakers, there is bipartisan support for wind energy among voters, says Horizon Wind Energy Vice President Roby Roberts, an American Wind Energy Association board member. "Wind is not a political issue," he explains. "It crosses political barriers."
