British designer shares his quest to make the perfect toaster

British author Thomas Thwaites's new book "The Toaster Project" chronicles his endeavor to design and build a toaster from scratch. While the finished project, assembled from raw material Thwaites mined himself, is far from perfection, the toaster has gone on display at the Science Museum of London and garnered Thwaites celebrity on shows such as "The Colbert Report."
