Fla. schools use creative ways to meet activity requirements

Milestones Community School in Leesburg, Fla., teaches students yoga, and other schools have children dance in the classroom to meet state requirements that elementary-school students have about 150 minutes of physical activity per week. Some schools struggle to afford physical education along with other classes, such as music or art, so state Rep. Larry Metz authored a bill that would repeal requirements that middle-school students have at least one physical-education class per year.
