Teachers learned how to use interactive devices such as SMART Tables to take students on virtual field trips, and the ActivExpression learning-response tool to garner immediate feedback from students. Special-education teacher Kathy Belote noted the potential usefulness of 3D SMART Board software that allows students to participate in simulated animal dissections.
