Hispanic food and beverage market estimated at $8.2B

A report recently released by Packaged Facts estimates that the Hispanic food and beverage market in the U.S. totals around $8.2 billion this year -- a 3% hike from 2011 and an 8.2% increase from 2009. The report, titled "Hispanic Foods and Beverages in the US," also states that most American households now find Hispanic foods and drinks appealing, and that Hispanic staples such as tortillas and salsa have had higher sales than hamburgers and ketchup.
