IAB report on site tagging enters public comment phase

The Interactive Advertising Bureau is finalizing a report, "Site Tagging Best Practices," by putting it up for comment. The practice of inserting JavaScript code on to a Web page to derive consumer data "is a foundational element of the heavily data-driven interactive advertising ecosystem without which it would not continue to thrive," said Steve Sullivan, IAB's vice president of advertising technology.
