Funding source is key to transportation proposal

The White House is opposed to instating a users fee for gasoline to help fund a new transportation package, but several trade groups -- including AGC -- and unions support the current House bill which advocates a tax to support increased funds for infrastructure work. "Paying for our bill is the big question," said Rep. Mike Thompson, D-Calif.
