Kazakhstan strikes back with NYT ad

In the wake of a feud involving Borat Sagdiyev, a character on HBO's "Da Ali G Show," over Kazakhstan's image, the country has published a four-page advertisement in The New York Times, touting its "21st century" industries and educational system. Borat, who is the subject of an upcoming feature film, has upset officials with his portrayal of Kazakhstan as a backwater country.
