High-tech imaging equipment is seeing ever-increasing use as providers seek less-invasive methods of diagnosing and managing coronary artery disease and other health conditions. Equipment such as high-speed CT scanners and high-resolution CT-PET scanners with steep price tags are gaining ground as a means of helping medical professionals look at everything from cell activity in cancer to the inner workings of the vascular system.
