Deregulation returns to Wall Street

Deregulation is back in style on Wall Street, following a season of "navel-gazing reform" after a wave of scandals. A new report from the Committee on Capital Markets Regulation "makes a number of constructive contributions regarding the regulatory process that could dramatically improve the efficiency and competitiveness of our markets," said Marc Lackritz, SIFMA co-chief executive.
