Sprint, Cingular push into consumer e-mail

Sprint is releasing a new Java e-mail program, powered by Seven, which can access any POP or IMAP account while having push and synchronization capabilities found in enterprise e-mail. Cingular Wireless today begins selling the BlackBerry Pearl, which features the BlackBerry e-mail platform in a smartphone.
