Accommodations already tight in Vancouver for 2010 Games

With Olympic organizers not able to find enough hotel space for all of their workers for the 2010 Games in Vancouver, British Columbia, those planning to attend the Games should also expect a tough time. Organizers have a lock on about half of the area's 26,000 hotel rooms, and the security team and sponsor staff also need hundreds of rooms. Volunteers are expected to be accommodated by a homestay program.
