Lawsuit seeks extra education for those whose services were delayed

Parent Kina King says she's been asking Milwaukee schools to evaluate her daughter for special needs since she was 5, but only received services after her daughter failed first grade three times. Now her daughter, 16-year-old Jamie Stokes, is at the heart of a lawsuit against the district that seeks "compensatory education" for students who did not receive timely services.
