The price of palm oil

Palm oil is the world's most widely used vegetable oil, found in products ranging from General Mills breakfast bars to Nabisco Oreos. Its chief virtue is that it is inexpensive, but the price can go up, as it did this year, and some are concerned that the rapid expansion of the industry is harming the environment.
