Some Maryland school districts cancel school for Obama inauguration

Several Maryland school districts, including St. Mary's County, are closing schools Jan. 20 to allow students to attend President-elect Barack Obama's inauguration. Following a similar move by the Charles County, Md., school board, St. Mary's County's school board voted to reschedule a professional day for teachers from Jan. 16 to Jan. 20.
