Travelers advised to delay journeys to Mumbai

After the attacks in Mumbai on Wednesday, travelers headed to the city were urged to postpone their trips as it was feared that foreigners were being targeted. Manmohan Singh, prime minister of India, said the attacks were intended to "create a sense of panic by choosing high-profile targets and indiscriminately killing innocent foreigners." The U.S. State Department issued a Travel Alert for India.
