Corps: Bridge won't damage Dallas flood system

Construction of a $117 million bridge over the Trinity River in Dallas will not damage the city's flood control system, according to the Army Corps of Engineers. Construction on the project stopped earlier this year because of concerns that the bridge's support piers would compromise levees. Dallas officials said the bridge's arch will start to take shape next year.
