Emergency plans unveiled for Illinois' levee problem

The Army Corps of Engineers proposed to construct dikes and increase the water levels in wetlands behind a Mississippi River levee in Illinois' Metro East region. The plans are designed to counter the structure's seepage problem and prevent flooding until a permanent solution will be implemented next year.
