Idaho educators are teaching via videoconference technology

Idaho officials are experimenting with a teaching method that allows students and teachers to videoconference via a broadband connection -- meaning that teachers in one school can connect with students in another. Supporters say the program "levels the playing field" for students in rural schools who might not have access to the same course offerings as students in larger, urban schools.
