N.Y. lawmaker looks out for small-business interest

NFIB has endorsed The Business Checking Fairness Act, a bill introduced by U.S. Rep. Scott Murphy, D-N.Y., which would allow small businesses to earn interest on their checking accounts. Brad Close, NFIB's vice president of public policy, said the bill would "help level the playing field between big and small businesses."
