Times are tough for top executives -- and things will only get worse in 2010, declares Wall Street legendary lawyer Martin Lipton in his annual collection of "thoughts for boards of directors." Top business leaders will increasingly find their hands tied by activist shareholders, Lipton argues. In fact, he says, many CEOs will soon find themselves envying "companies that have the advantages of state corporatism, like those in China."
