Agreements rule out rail strike for the holidays

Freight railroads have reached collective agreements with 12 unions and extended talks with the 13th until Feb. 8. The deals lift the threat of a holiday-season strike that would have proved "devastating" to the nation's retailers, said NRF President and CEO Matthew Shay.
